Defining Progress

We all sit there and know that we can do better than we did the day before, so what is it that stops us from stepping into that success? Resistance? The unknown? We all resonate with these words, but the truth is that it’s easier to step back into what we knew than to go forward into the unknown and that defines progress for me.

So what is your character like? Do you know why it’s worth stepping into the discomfort intentionally rather than waiting for something to catch you off guard? What does it look like to walk with integrity and stay true to the promises that we make ourselves, our family and those around us? That’s what I love about the gym, seeing people read books, trying new things. It’s showing character and sacrifice. But don’t get caught in the character development of your natural strengths.
Are you trying new and different things to find out what is possible in the areas that you're not aware of? Because that will overall increase your whole quality of life and open up perspectives to the world that are insane.

This key is something that is really making itself known to me. Leverage what you’re good at to 10x, but make sure you’re working on the areas that the rest of your life is having to hold up.

So define your progress. We all know the space inside of us that we neglect, but you have the choice to approach it openly. In that moment of it being in the light, it looses its power and you can water a seed that’s been wanting to grow.
